Kim Fay.

The FAY brand was launched in a small room, at the back of a grocery shop, owned by the founders, Resham and Satvinder Bains.

The founders used to run the aluminium foil converting machine themselves in between running the grocery business, situated in the Peponi Suburb of Nairobi.

Working seven days a week, they would then pack the products manually and bring them up to the supermarket to sell.

After years of hard toil the products eventually developed a loyal following and soon the profits from selling the brand to the market outstripped that of the shop. The couple took the bold move to close the shop and venture into the unknown world of brand building. The rest as they say, is history.
